All mixed feelings aside, this blog was created for two main reasons:
First and foremost, I will be embarking (about a month from this post) on a 5-month trip to Taiwan. While there, I will wish to communicate with friends/family back home about any significant happenings (and hopefully they will wish to hear them, in return), so instead of emailing a bunch of people who may or may not care, this blog will serve as a central warehouse of news. Those who wish to take a look may do so. Those who do not, may not. Works out nicely :)
Secondly, it will serve as a platform for whatever other random thoughts, ideas, projects, etc. I wish to share with the world. I pity the world for granting me this privilege.
So, until July 8th, there probably won't be much in the way of activity on here...so check in then!
Oh, and about the name...'Victory of the wolf' comes from my obsession with the Aesop fable depicting the difference between a dog and a wolf. The current dominance of the wolf over my psyche is what inspired the title.
